I have DemoManager 3.2, but I have problems with it - which I have had every time I have DemoManager installed. I usually have my demo manager on 'Always' so that every game i play is demo'd, but if the time limit is nearly reached, or sometimes it will let me go into 'sudden death' time, UT completly crashes, and I have a

Critical Error - Assertion Failed message appear
Does anyone know who to resolve this, as its really annoying especially if you were top at the time it crashes, if you manage to re-enter the server, then obviously your bottom :-(

Any ideas ?

If it helps I will post a screenie of the exact error message the next time that it occurs for me.

thanks for any advise any one can give.

I have the same problem, after it happens, have a look in your unrealtournament.log file and see what it says.

mine is posted here
http://www.unrealadmin.org/forums/showthread.php?t=19498

still havent got a fix yet except using the default demo driver

Hmm, before these UTDC errors, do you get some odd warnings saying that a mesh can't be found or something similar ?

Yep LeeBe - getting exactly the same error as you according to my unrealtournament.log file.......

Critical: appError called:
Critical: Assertion failed: Channel [File:C:\UTDev\Engine\Src\UnLevTic.cpp] [Line: 780]
Critical: Windows GetLastError: The operation completed successfully. (0)

it just happened again to me, just as I capped my second cap on the map - lol :-)

Its sooooooooo annoying. I want to have it on all the time, because I like going through and watching the demos when I am bored, and cut bits out to eventually make a pretty long movie out of them all. But not knowing whether UT is gonna crash with it running all the time - Im getting a bit lost :-(

I tried last night changing the DemoRecordingDevice= back to the default but still had demomanager set to autorecord and it crashed with the same error, I set it to never record and didnt record one manually and it didnt crash, Ill try tonight uninstalling demomanager.
