If so, could I ban this little &%$! from our servers? Just to double check, if I may ask kindly. Thanks!

that player's AnthCheckerC_v138.u file is probably corrupted.

Thanks for that, Anth - appreciated.

We'll feed it back to that player's clan. ;)

Messing around with Anthchecker is the fashion at the moment. I have had several confirmed logs in the past 2 months. Some were just silly people trying it on with well known hacked versions, some using the slightly more "sophisticated" version here.

Forgive me for coming back to this regarding that link, Pizza...

...if the post that Anth made:

I've identified the file and I can confirm that this player was caught with a hacked AnthCheckerC_v138.u file. This hack doesn't break cheatdetection in any way but it will prevent the player from being kicked from the server. The latest versions of the AC v1.38 serverfile (build 5 and later) will however be able to kick clients using this hack.

Any player caught with these values is using the hack:

### - Reason : Illegal checksum received (possible bytehack)!
### - File : AnthCheckerC_v138
### - StdChecksum : 757140140
### - FileSize : 31932

...then this is a hack, right?

In that case, original post updated with name and IP to confirm. Also have relayed back to this players' clan.

I am investigating this incident as much as I can......
and I defiantly need to know as we are a very honorable and honest team/clan and want to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

In anyway could this be unintentional or would some one have to know what they are doing?

Let me know

The server pushes the file AnthCheckerC_v138.u to the client. This player has placed a hacked AnthCheckerC_v138.u in his system folder, and removed the original one from his cache (or from the system folder, if he uses a cache cleaner). This does not happen by accident.

Thanks for the info PizzaMan. Teaok is our head admin and takes this very seriously. He and I chatted this morning concerning this and he will get to the bottom of this issue. This is also very disturbing to me as well not only as a PsT member but as an admin as well. We have worked very hard to establish a good name for ourselves and do not want it tainted.

If there is one thing I do not believe in is tainting the clan - I know for a fact that }PsT{ have a very good name in the camper arena of UT99, and have played many a fair game with your member (under past clans, I might add). The player appears to be at fault here, not the clan. Please, allow me to make that clear.

If you wish to speak further on this then feel free to catch me sometime on MSN - I've PM'd you and Teaok my MSN address.

Ty Korn,

I also wanted to give an update and do want to apologize for this being late.
Radroni is no longer a member of }PsT{. Also if anyone sees a log with our tag please let me know asap.

Thank you
