Ok so i cant get the web admin to work with this server i am admin on, the map cycle is not working, is there any way i can make the map cycle work through the console? :thumbsup:

If you have access to the ini, you can change the maps there.

Why don't you get webadmin to work?
Is it enabled in the ini?

The web admin works, i just cant get the URL to work properly lol, the head admin is always busy.

I read in one of your tutorials that admins have access to variables in the ini through the server.. so i guess i have access to the ini.

If i could get the web admin URL, well the proper one i could fix this problem easy but i cant get the right URL cos the head admin wont reply his ICQ's so if you could help me in the mean time i would be greatful :D

Sorry, I don't know if you can set up a maplist from the console.
You can change map from console if you login as admin. The command is switchlevel map name here

The url to webadmin is the same as the url for the server but you must know the portnumber. The default port for webadmin is 80 but I guess they are using a different port for security reason. I found many server use port 8080.

You can try with the default port first. I Explorer, type http:// ip for the server here
If that don't work you can always try with port 8080. Then type http:// ip for the server here:8080

well i have one web admin working, the address for that is

the address for the web admin i am trying to get to work is

ut4.ozforces.com:8887

so the full URL for that *should* be

http://ut4.ozforces.com:8887/ServerAdmin/

right?? well doesnt work

Yeah that URL just takes me to the web admin of the server i can get it on, confusing.

You can setup your own maplist.

All you have to do is go to the interface, then to start server, maps, then select the maps you want to play. The server will then start you off with that map list, and rotate them. The easiest way to do this is point yer launcher to an alternate .ini folder, and remove all of the video and sound settings, as well as the menu settings if you can figure it out. Cept fer spectators if ya whant um, or wann be one for config, or laughs...
