no privileges in web admin

Newbie here so forgive my stupidity.

when I log onto my dedicated server via Web admin
in the admin/groups section I get

Privileges You cannot assign privileges.

what am I doing wrong ?

are u logging is as Admin ?

:withstupid: I also have this problem I have set my admin name and password via the command prompt and I can login but when I look at privilages it says I can't assign any... help!

As for logging in admin admin no that doesn't even get my past the login screen

Thats becasue you are not uysing the new xadmin system which allows for priveledges
