View Full Version : Players disconneted/kicked after mapchange

Players are being disconnected after a map is changed, they must try up to 4/5 times to enter the game.
If you are in and you are not kicked all works fine, other players then also can join an play without being kicked.
I experience this since I installed the Linux IPdrv fix, I first made a backup of the file. The strange thing is I placed the old file back but my problem isn't gone.
I also removed UTpure and still the problem is there, no mods installed exept mapvote en clickboard.
Is this a Linux problem or any know problem what so ever and what is the solution?

Yep, I did register www.unreatournament2003.nl I also regged www.unreal-tournament2003.nl ;)
I did once a post if someone would like to make toghter with me a official dutch UT2K3 website, no responce...... :(

I remember experienced the same thing a few weeks ago. At the time I was trying to create a dedicated server for Tally ho (I've failed but that's not the point :D) and just after I've try I was just able to play a map and then the game crash :(
I first spend time around my config file seeking for the last change, but I finally found that my video card driver was the one putting the mess around. I've just update the nvidia driver et everything went fine since then. :notworthy:

ive had the same problem yesterday ppl would play on server and when the map was voted it would freeze on the loading map screen.

well what i have a deafult ut2003.ini script stashed away and copy pasted the mutators i needed and replaced it with the ut2003.ini one. I also replaced my mapvote to the new Mapvote b10 and everything works fine.
stayed up till 5am tryin to find out this out so this will save u a few hours :thumbup:

Bert, did you ever find a solution for this problem. I'm seeing the exact same problem with players getting disconnect after a mapchange.
This is what I get in my server console when all players are getting disconnected:
