UT2K3 Server Setup

Alright you guys - Some weird stuff is goin down. First, I must have stared at the tutorial for how to set up a server longer than I stare at my computer science homework.... For some reason I just could not get it working. You don't quite specify which thing you are supposed to do first, an what .ini you are supposed to use when you say "TypeIniHere.ini"... and the same w/ the log. Now, for some crazy reason, I can get my server working and WebAdmin works fine (except for that stupid Mutator thing that just don't werk).... but my thing is I have to actually open UT2K3 like I'm going to play the game and create a server through there. And that sucks.... so here is my questions!!!

I know that its a good idea to have a new UT2003.ini file so I just deleted the one I had and opened the game so that it created a new one. So, NOW, what exactly am I doing to set up a server? What comes first, what specifically do I type in where.... etc etc. I want WebAdmin enabled! I downloaded that FireDaemon thing and typed in what I thought would work, and it says "Service Started Successfully" but then I don't see any services pop up as being strictly for FireDaemon and I don't see a console window or anything.... so, wtf?

I know you have tutorials, but I am getting confused when reading them. I'm not setting something up right! Just need some help to start a server - my computer is a server god but not when I can't figure out how to set it up :(

Is any of this server stuff related to the Free UT2003 Server with the CD Key. Trying to setup a server for the first time and thats what I downloaded.

I try to run the ucc.exe and it just exits. Have not done much in the way of investigation yet but just wanted to make sure all the discussions oare on target with this Free Server downloadable.

You need to see the link Killing posted above. Also if you are going to run a dedicated server on a box you can not (as far as I know) also run the full version because the keys will overwright each other in the registry. If you simply double click on ucc.exe nothing will happen you have to include some command line options to tell it what to do. Again see the link above.
