Sending GameSpy Heartbeat....

After starting the FREE Dedicated server...it continues in a DOS box and does not run as a small Icon in the system tray..
Is this Normal ?

Also, in the DOS box, it continually repeats this line:
Sending GampSpy heartbeat : \heatbeat\7787\gamename of UT2

Is this because its advertising online ?
Can I stop this ?

It is normal for it to run via the dos box. if u want the icon in the system trya u will need to run the server off the full game/

yes it is becasue it is advertising online and it can nto be stopepd unless u want to stop your server advertsiing online
