Twiddling Thumbs at the Connect Screen

Hopefully someone here has broken through this blockade. I got the demo properly installed on my ded box and I'm able to bring it online and connect but that's as far as I seem to get before getting the all predominant finger. Clientside I'm stuck at the connect screen. (Note I can connect to other servers fine and friends also can't connect to my server.)

Here's the only thing that pops up from cmdln when I try to connect. Ports are open.

I've tried over a dozen config lines including ones recommended from this site and others.

Anyways if you have any info about this then fatten the thread up a bit.

Server Specs
OS: Server 2003 x64 SP2 (maybe this is my issue)
CPU: Core2 Quad 2.4
Mem: 3.92 GB

Is your box behind a router/firewall? If so that's your problem with no patch/fix in sight.

I talked to ep1taph and got the issue resolved. Ended up adding multihome did the trick.

can you elaborate on this, revenant? What is multihome? Also, is your server behind a router? If so, what ports are you forwarding?
