OK, I've seen the command line list, but what it doesn't show is everything that can get tagged on to ucc.exe after the map name. These are the ones I know...
ucc server <mapname>, then
?Game=<gametype>
?WeaponStay=True|False
?Translocator=True|False
?FF=<value>
?GoalScore=<value>
?TimeLimit=<vale>
?MaxLives=<value>
?AutoAdjust=<vale>
?GameStats=True|False
?MinPlayers=<value>
?MaxPlayers=<value>
?MaxSpectators=<value>
?AdminName=<value>
?AdminPassword=<value>
?difficulty=<value>
?mutator=<comma delimited list of mutators>
Are there any other ?URL settings that can be set at the command line?

Thanks Az, I'm hoping someone knows the full list, I REALLY need to know how much I can do via command line before I have to go editing INI files to start custom servers.

Evo -
I've already started writing a how-to, d'you want to have a look at it before starting yours so we're not duplicating effort?
It's at:
http://www.ina-community.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=2987830#post2987830
Let me know if it's of any use to you :)
Cheers

Lookin Good!
It looks like I don't need to write that tutorial after all! I can give you the parameters for the commands you have labeled "Unknown", however.
Once you've completed your how-to, I'd love to add it to the Server Administration Tutorial (http://www.unrealadmin.org/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=7) (we'd add you to the "About" section, of course ;) ). Send me an email listing the commands that you still need parameters for.

the syntax is ReadTEamSymbol=<the desired texture name from TeamSymbols.int file>
I added the pile of steaming crap & crazy old man symbols to my server last night.

He had emailed me, apparently 'cuz I had forgotten all about this thread.
Answer, is as above with the very important addition that one must add
ServerPackages=TeamSymbols_UT2003
to the server ini.
Hope your mates enjoy playing as a pile of steaming crap. I gotta big kick out of it on CTF-Arrakis, many flag markers scattered about.

How do these commands translate into the console admin?
Which ones work?
WebSlinger

ugh, some of these commands seem to override INI settings and some don't. GamePassword, for instance, when set at command line does not override the setting in the AccessControl section of the INI. :( I REALLY need to be able to set the game password to something, or explicitly remove it regardless of what's in the INI.

I've been looking for a program (or considering writing one) that will let the admin to select (via html style forms) what options he would like to have used in the command line, then spit out the command line with those options pasted in the proper place... i'd consider writing one, but i would need more info as to what each option does/goes and stuff like limits on the various fields (max ff=500%? or 100%? etc etc)...

Hello,
i need help for a study about computer games:
i want to start ut2003 without having to choose game options through the in-game menu but with one click on an icon on the desktop:
- deathmatch game
- one player with a special player name
- one special bot with a defined bot intelligence
- a chosen mutator
- 15 minutes time limit
how can i do this - is this possible???
i hope anyone can help me :)

I also read somewhere about the command "VsBots=True" whereby the server would automatically place all human players on the same team and bots on the other. I could simply try this myself and see if it works but for completionary purposes I'd like to know on the forum if this should be added to your list.
IMHO, bots perform much better in a team of bots. The code allows them to communicate with each other in ways that we are normally too busy to bother executing. They also lack the intuitively human way we do things. I find it would be best to set this VsBots value to true and set the diffuculty= value to slightly higher than we're comfortable with. This would be a great tool to practice for Clan Matches, since we could fully utilize the VoIP proggie to keep us all on the same page. It's also good for teaching the noobs in my clan which strategies work best in different situations.
But, I digress. Please let me/us know if the "VsBots=" command is a valid CLP. Thanks! -Randy
