not because I was unaware of this bug. I have moreover never successful has to make function the MOD match (kind if you metter it auto--pause when you come back the time sets out again at the beginning. Kind if the limit of time is with 15minutes when you return that sets out again has 15 minute and not 11 for example if you to disconnect has 11 minutes remaining. Personally I prefer again used UTPure for the MOD match it walks better if you to adjust certain adjustments in nexgen.ini

my custum version work better with the gametype MonsterHunt than the version112
Hud not longer forced in red and the instructions or info message are displayed at the center of the screen and not with the deathmessage.
a onglet has been added for chatlog ( you can see the message of other players)
Message of Nexgen is now Cyan and no longer orange. and the text of the player say is now in green and not the playercolor

But this mutator was not legal does not leave the clean screen,
leaves yes disorganized beyond having its icons badly located in the screen
This could be standard of nexgen being able to qualify and to incapacitate, and not a mutator.

All I want to use this for is to preserve player stats if they disconnect/reconnect. Does that save all the smartctf stats as well like flag kills etc?
I assume what I need is this and 112 extension.

What we need to do is see if Canopoly / CowBoy maybe able to build these features into Phoenix Resurrect Mod as it retains atm kills/frags.. but I would assume that other game player stats could be retrieved as well..

ServerAffiliates shouldn't be ported, Defrost explicitly told us it was a private mod, and not to use it.

The problem, as discussed in another thread, is that people can easily use such a plugin to force their own servers onto your favourites, without asking permission, and also deleting other favourites that people have. There's no guarantee that people will use it just as designed.

@<hidden> IIRC that's Monsterhunt that does that, not Nexgen.
@<hidden>[rev]rato.skt Even so, how difficult would it be for someone to change it so it does force it? I'm not that good at scripting stuff, but I reckon I'd be able to figure it out with a base to work from.

Today we got into a LAN match with buddies - 16 human players.
I've started server from cmd console:

And it was lagging a lot - the machines are powerfull, have lots of ram, it is a GBit network. Ping in DM-fractal was around 500+ ms, really awful.

In F6 I observed 30-40% constant packet loss.
All problems disappeared when I've launched ut from game, so I was client and server, without nexgen.

Post the isBanned function. The second parameter is incorrect, you aren't using the correct parameter type (e.g. Byte instead of String).
You're probably missing one of the parameters.

anybody is able to fix the problem with Force Start option?
when you Force Start game:
1- all get a Flag in their back .
2-can you add too a announcer calculation like have ASC : (10,9,8...0 etc...)

I have seen it somewhere on a server.

The commands for ASC and HUT work for legacy reasons, but the main command would be "Mutate NSC OpenRCP"

i put here my latest version of my custum version of Nexgen
new since 112D
BannerName ( the name of the admin who issue the ban will be stored on Nexgen.ini ( avalaible on the server if you are L6 or L7 or Root Admin)
if you are not a L6 or greater admin you can modifie only your own ban.
when a player is banned he will see the name of the admin who banned him
on the popup window.
option for kick a player until the end of a game ( Kick For Match)

if you want to use the bannerName or the chatlog on your next version of Nexgen you can do it is not a problem for me.

I like the colorsetting of the chatbar and text.
There is one thing though.
Because the upper chatbar is not transparent some text is hidden behind it when the game ends.

Since a few weeks I have errors in my serverlog.
Found out that the errors are related to nexgen 112
The errors are not produced in nexgen version 110
this is the error:

one way for this increasse the ban list slot and for that you need to recompile it. and please if you do that do no use the same name i don't want mismatch version .
on NexgenConfig.uc
find this section

How do I get this config uc and with what can I compile/edit it (unreal ed?)?
edit: ok I could make my changes and saved it (added 2048 slots each) , now only compile it and rename?
edit2: ucc can't find a lot of .pcx and one wav

now for compiling you will need to check each file uc for name of Nexgen
"ListClass=Class'Nexgen112L.NexgenPlayerList' anc rename with your name of Nexgen
if your name of Nexgen is Nexgen112TH
you must have that "ListClass=Class'Nexgen112TH.NexgenPlayerList'
othervise this will not work correctly.

I searched through every uc and tried the windows search tool.
I've just compiled it and there were no problems (no error)
edit: ok installed it on my local tactical ops CTF test server, no admin login available ^^,
where are these entries? o.O

already thought about creating one pluguin to top 10 in each mod standard(DM,TDM,LMS,CTF,DOM,RA) for nexgen,
without complication to install with the same easiness of nexgen..
I currently feel lack of 2 things in ut, 1 is this that I said the top and other is

you need to use vip slots for that working .horewer that will not work if you use variable slot because VIP ans admin slots are disabled.

you need only to modfie the Nexgenstatswiever extact the package with unrealed. and open the NSVHUD.uc
searche on this file the paramettre and change it.
and please change the name of the plugin don't use the same than the original or we will got mismatch version

I modified the NSVHUD.uc.
Changed the line:
const maxShowTime = 8.0; to const maxShowTime = 20.0;
Then I renamed the plugin to NexgenStatsViewer105OLY, recompiled and uploaded it to system folder.
Changed the names of the serveractor and package in unrealtournament.ini to:
ServerActors=NexgenStatsViewer105OLY.NSVMain
ServerPackages=NexgenStatsViewer105OLY
Now the statsviewer does not show anymore,
Arghh what am I doing wrong:confused:?

jst a though here, but can the NG ID be coupled with a IP Filter as well.
for example if someone is promoted to Admin through NG console , how about add the players IP to a .ini and cross referencing it when the player connects to server.
even set it to allow for dynamic detection , with warnings to .log ;
[ Admin ] [ BOB ] using NG Id: 324h2u34hkj24hu could be on Dynamic IP
[ Admin ] [ BOB ] Registered IP = 192.168.0.1
[ Admin ] [ BOB ] Current IP = 192.168.0.4
[ Admin ] Please set bAcceptDynamic=1 for [ BOB ] in .ini
maybe that would help with this issue...

Hey,
I'm using a modified version of nexgen 112L (my posts are some pages back (increased number of ban slots)).
Since yesterday evening nobody has been able to open the nexgen window.
(I think it was after I had banned a cheater who didn't appear on the banlist after that, but I'm not sure...)

I have another question, but I think this can't be solved...
Some banned people already know how they are banned by nexgen (ID in user.ini) and come back everytime after they were banned.
Is there any chance to avoid this and ban by (for example) HardwareID (I don't think that that is possible with an ut-actor)?

You can use the NexgenACE addon, which replaces client IDs with their HWID, although there can be issues sometimes. It should work for what you need though.

I have the 112MHA version, I was playing with 3 people and i saw that other people appeared in the server but then dissapeared. My console said the clients id was already in use so it dissallowed entry into the server.

Maybe it is just the case that the players copied an UT installation and therefore got the same client ID? If this is the case tell them to remove all sections with 'Nexgen' in their User.ini

Hey, something has annoyed me for a while and I don't know if it's Nexgen or not.
It seems that if you type things too quickly on a server you get blocked from talking for a second or two and have to type very slowly. I'm not talking about spamming speech binds, I just mean typing many sentences quite fast. It's very annoying because I type quickly and hate being blocked.
Is there something in the Nexgen.ini file which can completely *disable* "spam control" like this? I'd rather suffer a server full of spam than have players being blocked for seconds at a time.

I know it's possible as I've seen it done on other servers but it's driving me crazy not being able to figure out how to do it.
Any ideas?

Firstly I've noticed that once NexGen is installed, pressing F2 no longer shows the server information/MOTD info. I know that it can be viewed via NexGen but why does it have to be one or the other? Obviously this isn't a crippling issue but it would be nice if there was a way to have both.
There's a plugin which fixes that, you may look some pages before this one. It was discussed in this thread.
