Server update without X11

Is there a way to run the loki_update program in text mode?

I have to update my server remotely and X11 forwaring doesnt work, and I dont find it necessary. Just plain text, is all I need ;)

./loki_update /you/home/ut/directory/path

so it may be something like this

./loki_update /usr/games/ut2003

That will do it.
