I find this a site GREAT !

very informative...
However, there is alot of editing ini files.
Many posts claim to edit a .ini or .int file without saying which one.

Perhaps I am behind the times here, but I cannot be alone with this issue.

There is a Default.ini and a UT2003.ini file.
They both look the same. Which one is the Dedicated Server Loading ?
Do I make all edit changes to both ?

So far I have only been editing the user.ini file and the ut2003.ini

If possible, could you idenifity the actual file you are indicating to edit.
Would be very helpful....Thanks ALL

Basically, the ut2003.ini is used for server/video/audio setups and the user.ini is used for user customization(key binds). So, when people talk editing an ini, it is more than likely the ut2003.ini. :)

ut2003.ini is used for both client and server. There is no problem of using only that file. But, its recommended to use a diferent .ini file for the server, so you dont mess up the client settings when configuring the server and vice-versa. Furthermore, if you use a file i.e. server.ini you can safely delete all client-related settings, thus you end up with a very light ini file.

Is up to you ;)
