Hi

Being a newbie to linux I dont know what to look for here so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it. I rebooted my linux box this morning and restarted the ucc.init script

that was 6 odd hours ago ucc-bin had three threads all at 45mb each. I have 256mb ram, 8 is shared with on board vga, total free was approximately 120mb, excellent I thought.

now i have this

1:56pm up 6:42, 1 user, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00
40 processes: 37 sleeping, 3 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped
CPU states: 0.0% user, 0.3% system, 0.0% nice, 99.6% idle
Mem: 247328K av, 237780K used, 9548K free, 0K shrd, 20812K buff
Swap: 457844K av, 0K used, 457844K free 144436K cached

PID USER PRI NI SIZE RSS SHARE STAT %CPU %MEM TIME COMMAND

as you can see ucc-bin is at 63mb having had 4-5 players use it during morning but each time someone connects I lose free ram, not in relation to the extra ucc is taking??????

I am using command line only, no other applications, no GUI so being a newbie to this am at a loss as to where the rams being eaten, and this is what was happening before the new 2136 patch, and always thought it was the memory leak problem.......anyone got any ideas, our know how I can find where the missing ram is???

thanks for any help
