Same problem here too, but mine developed after the 2122 patch. It seems to stop working for me after one map has been played. I'm not too sure about that though. It may be like you said a 5-60 minute thing. I definately fall into that category as well.

Yeah seems kinda hit-n-miss whether it'll work or not.

Not to hijack this thread but, how about this.

After I launch my server it shows in the lan tab AND the appropriate game type tab.

I come back the next day, and it no longer shows in the gametype tab, or shows with a N/A as the ping, where as ping was shown previously.

Furthermore, the master browser never seems to have an accurate player total. the last few times I checked (post patch) my server has been stuck showing 3 players, when in fact there were none.

Anybody else?

This is a "feature", not a bug! :)

The server browser will show one less than the minimum number of players as being connected if no players are connected.

So, if the minimum number of players is 4, then the server browser will show 3, although clicking on the name of the server (provided the server query is still working at that point) will show that there are in fact no players connected. I really hope they change the way this works, to be honest. There's really no reason for the server browser to show 3 players connected if no one IS connected. One sorta-kinda workaround for this is the add
?QuickStart=True
to the startup commandline parameter for your server. At least that way the bots will actually play without human players present.

The WebAdmin thing is geting stepped on by MAPS!!

I recall that CTF-Face3 and BR-Slaugterhouse were ones mentioned.

I can also add BR-RoughTerrian also kills WebAdmin.

Also note the above standard maps are the biggest maps.

I am sure there are others too..

Here's the link BatCat is referring to...

And it turns out BR-TwinTombs is just as big as either of the other two std maps, yet does not kill the web admin!!

As for the minplayers "feature", I think I have it pretty well characterized... check my post here:

....and see if you agree with my analysis... I'm curious whether my experiments with my own server actually apply to the rest of the world... ;)
