A little HUD and ScoreBoard customizing tool. In short it features:
- Configurable Game Name (e.g. Wicked Sick DeathMatch).
- Eff shown on both HUD and ScoreBoard.
- Toggle the eff feature on/off pr GameStyle.
- Configurable Game Name color.
- Configurable Player Name string and color.
- Configurable Player/Local Player/Admin name colors.
- Configurable Frag string and color.
- Configurable Death string and color.
- Configurable LMS VictoryGoal string.
More details in the readme file inside the package.
This mutator has only been tested on a server running minimum mutators, so report any errors you may find and maybe I can/will fix it :thumbup:
supported gamestyles are:
- DeathMatch
- Team DeathMatch
- Capture the Flag
- Domination
- Last Man Standing*
* The eff value on the LMS HUD does not represent the eff of the ingame scores, but the remaining % of the players life, so reflecting the players efficiency in a different way.

bleh and again only the normalgames.
How about Bunnytrack i mean it a very popular mod.A nice scoreboard for it would be great.

I'm not familier with that gamestyle, but give it to me and maybe i can cook something for you? I also thought of JailBreak and other mods, but when the source has been removed from the gamestyles i cannot change the HUD or SB very easy.
I have no idea what BunnyTrack is about, just heard it's a lot of jumping and keybinded moves.
So, basicly i see no problem in adding gamestyles, i only need 3 things to implement them into the package:
1. time
2. the mod + source
3. an explanation on the gamestyle + how the eff should be calculated

well, that link is to an add-on for BT as far as i can tell from it it needs: bunnytrack2.bunnytrackgame to run, which must by the gamestyle itself.
the link you post does include a modified HUD and SB also showing efficiency and other stuff, so isn't that good eneough?
If i include BT in my package i must know some more, i see the bunnytrack2 gamestyle, does people also use v1? also, the addon is that always used on BT servers? or does some servers run standard BT? I might end up with having to make 4 different HUD & SB's if servers are that different. So i guess it's a no go at the moment.

I was more refering to the scorebord for btplusplus it sucks.
Other gamestyles like smartctf have a nice scoreboard.
And as far as i know most servers only run btplusplus.I have another server which usses bt2 bt v1 is not used at all.

I still prefer the eff way of deathmatch.

I may make a v2 sometime with the option to chose between what EFF to be shown.

I like the mod, but i dont like this flip flop colors...
So.. i freaked a little with the ini file... but when i load
afterward the server and joined it... the colors where again flip flop.
but... when i started the server and played localy on it.. my change;s
become visible... seems that there goes something wrong
when u can fix this i will ASAP bring in on our servers.

Palerider has left UT, so there will not be any updates. About the crosshair, I think you can simply delete the stuff in the ini that locks it? not sure though?

Thx for ure input, i've stripped out the ini file but nothing changed.
also disabled Nexgenn 1.09, and other mods but nothing..
Will somebody help me out with it? i think i tried all atm

I'm building a HUD and ScoreBoard mutator from scratch ... if you have patience it might be working better for you.

I've had a talk with Palerider about these issues, the thing is he don't have anymore time because of school and other stuff, so he is not arround anymore. But he has done a lot of testing and is a bit surprised about the errors, but he hasn't got time to test it and fix it. I got his code and when I build my own I will maybe understand where the errors comes from, but I will need your feedback as I am not expirienced in the other side of the galaxy (read CTF, BT, Siege and those mods). I can play them yes, I can setup a server with it yes, but i haven't got the expirience to test it all the way through .... so, when time comes, please test my betas and maybe we can make something that it usefull on more than just the default gamestyles and maybe even support more specific custom mutators also.
But be patience, it's Xmas and I have a family who will claim just a few minutes of my sparetime :) And I don't want to rush it like my Xmas mutator, it worked for the default gamestyles, but i didn't invest the time needed for the more specific gamestyles and mutators. It did work allright, but it needed all mods on the server in order to not crash ..... I will take a different approach this time.
About the EFF, let me have a few suggestion on how exactly it should be calculated. I have my own opinion about it, but would be interested in others opinion also.
I would say the EFF is: 10 Frags + 1 Deaths = 11 TotalScore, Eff = 10/11 = 90% aprox.
Another angle could be to take the total ammount of frags and death done by all players on the server and then the EFF would show the % of the efficiency the individual player has measured against the total efficiency, so in fact all EFF % by all players should result in 100% total.
If i can please have your input, then i will maybe make the EFF shown selectable to whatever measurement that suits you best?

I am not so Unreal technician so that Eff issue maybe some other peeps?
Yes ofcourse i (and we can test) take ure time it's almost Xmas just memo me when the testtime is there.. thnx for looking after.

I am working on a Uscript version that doesn't need connecting to an external DB in order to work ..... I've yet to decide if it stays private or goes public? ... but if many are in need i might release the "DB" for other coders to use.
