Found a site that has a simple but usefull mapvote for UT2K3. It will allow mutator changes as well from within the admin window. The site is http://3d03.efyou.com/ (Relax I know its in German :D, but the mapvote mod is all english, along with the directions on how to install). I tried to install and use TTM but for some reason I could not get it to work on my server. The one above started right away no problems and its is extremely small so you dont have to worry about sucking up BW sending it to everyone who joins your server. Enjoy :D

I installed the map vote, and voted for the map CTF-HallsOfAnubis (a map we play often) then it loads CTF-Arrakis instead, so I voted for CTF-HallsOfAnubis again, and it repeated the behavior by loading CTF-Arrakis once more. I couldn't figure out what it was doing, but you should test this thoroughly before you put it on your server.

I obtained an updated version of the map vote utility from Ben, I have posted it here http://www.clan-originalsin.com/downloads/ut2vote.zip.
Below is quoted text from Ben's email to me.
Attached is my latest release with 1000 bug fixes and several new additions.
It was released last night so probably has not had enough time to hit the circuits.
Please read the UT2VoteConfig.txt file very carefully to full understand the functions of this version.
You can also see the details and screenshots on my site below.
Thank you very much for your interest.
I'm sure you will be very happy with this version.
Regards
Ben

Yeah UT2Vote iss nice....but...
I`ve got a terrible problem with it.
It shows no maps to vote for!
Ich disabled UTSecure in the server.ini, still nothing.
Any clues?
U can also contact me via ICQ: 21275198

I have sent your posting to Ben Smit, the author of the mutator. I suspect maybe an issue with the German Language version of UT2003, but I am not sure. Ben would be the authority on this matter, however I suggest you give him a little more to go on here, for example:
1) What is the current list of maps on the server's rotation (found in user.ini)
2) Maybe paste your UT2Vote.ini file here also in case there is a clue there.

Version 1.3 of UT2Vote (http://proasm.totalconversions.com/) is now out. For any of you that are going to upgrade from version 1.2 here is a tip, you must remove the following section of the user.ini on the dedicated server or it will keep re-adding the ServerPackages=UTVote12 line in the UT2003.ini after a level change or server exit. Then when the server restarts it will bail with an error about a missing serverpackage (UT2Vote12.u).

I also removed the UT2Vote12.u and .int files from the system folder, as well as replacing the old UT2Vote.ini with the new one edited to match the old ones settings of course. These steps were taken without knowing I needed to edit the user.ini, thats what seemed to resulte in the server re-adding the UTVote12 Server Package line. All seems well now, although the only way I found the offending line was by searching the System folder for a text match on UTVote12 :sigh:
