With World Stats no longer in use I'd like to learn more about local stats. Are there any good sites to read about local stat logging on server with tutorials and in-depth info about settings etc?

Here are a few good sites with information on configuring UT local stats logging. It is really pretty easy.

http://stats.zone.com/ngStats/LAN_Party.html <- I would ignore the stuff about setting up Xitami as your web server. If you're using a Windows OS (my choice ;) ), use IIS. If you're using a *nix flavor, use Apache.
Of course, you can use the built-in ngStats to display the statistics, but I use aeStats, which is obtainable here: (http://www.planetquake.com/aeons/aestats/). The cool thing about aeStats is it will understand the TacOps mod, which I have on my UT LAN server. The bad thing about aeStats is it is deathmatch-centric. It doesn't seem to know much about the other UT game types. However, it was the only stats program that I found that understood the TacOps weapons.
If you still have questions after reading these sites and doing some experimenting, please feel free to ask questions here. Lots of us are doing this, and it really is pretty simple...

epic games hasnt refreshed the stats since the 9th of novemeber:-(((
is the stats server dead or what :dontgetit:
or is there anybody out there who can prove me wrong :withstupid:
anyway i started my own stats server. works great exept that i cant run a cronjob on it. that means i have to manually activate the db update. i do that 1 a day

Pegasus, I believe you're actually referring to the UT2003 stats.
The stats server there does seem to be a bit backlogged, but I'm not sure by how much.
Moose's original question appeared to be about UT, especially since it was posted in the UT Server Forum... ;)

Hello there
I configed the .ini as it is written at http://www.planetunreal.com/TheAdminPage/Configini.htm#ngStats ,
but after all the server start log says:
GameInfo::InitGame : bEnableStatLogging False
so the stats on server are not being logged... :(
Here is the .ini part concerning this problem:
