Make your Working Directory

D:\Spiele\UT2003Server\System

That should do the trick

howabout, ucc.exe (no caps)

failing that, try adding the system directory to your dos PATH environement variable.

I know this wont help, but, this weekend I got my server running as a service using firedaemon. It was very straight forward, so I think your problem must be something obvious and/or stupid.

An Idea, does FireDaemon require any of the 'standard' xp services to be running? I know I;ve killed a lot of unnecessary services, yet it still works. You may have nuked a service that firedaemon has a dependancy on.

mmhh.. don`t know what it was but i got it running now.

The only problem I have is concerning the ini files:

Could someone send me the ini files he uses to set up a server?
(doesn`t matter if CTF, BR or TDM)
I just could need one to look at it. Because i don`t know how a custom ini has to look like...
Or which information I have to put into it to get it running with all the information needed (for example) running the ESL Rules.

Or can i use the user.ini and ut2003.ini ?
The Problem is that there are so many information that aren`t needed for a dedicated server.... Which confuses me....
What do u guys use?

So it whould be fine if some could send me custom inis for setting up a server.

you just have to configure the UT2003.ini for the server. Here is a link that explains what you have to do for a server.

i know

i got the server running but the problem is that the server does not accept if i write that it should load the commands i wrote down in (for example) 4on4.ini
I write in the parameters: ini=4on4.ini but the server doesn`t use the commands and uses the server default values.

32 players etc, and not 8 as I wrote in my custom ini.....

Could you post the bat file you are trying to run this from? It might help
