Im trying to get local log to work. I have downloaded mutlocallog, Ive copied the two files into my System folder, and I have created a "logs" folder.

I start the game normally, and when I try to join the game, it says UT2003 stats DISABLED ( note that ). ok so far so good. Then I go to my webadmin, mutators, and I choose local log, and restart level. I try to join the game again, and now it says UT2003 stats ENABLED, and I cant join the game because of it!

Ok, but how th... do I disable it then? Its like the mutator is enabling it on its own before telling me I cant use it when its enabled?

Has anyone here gotten it to work?
Btw, it creates log files, but they are empty, presumable because no killing is ever done because I cant join the game. And yes - I am using the mutlocallog, not local log.

So if anyone could tell me what to do I'd be eternally grateful :)

...but I did have mutlocallog running for a while.

As I recall, once it is running correctly your server will behave like an "officially" stats enabled server. Which means anyone connecting to it needs to be an "officially" stats enabled player ID. So, your player ID needs to be correct with a stats password and stats tracking enabled.

If you try to connect to the server as a player without your ID set up properly, your connect will be rejected. Is it possible that this is what you are experiencing?

Beyond this, I'm afraid I can't offer much wisdom- I switched to locallog (not the mutator) when I realized that I couldn't run bots on my server with mutlocallog...since it follows the "official" stats rules (I.E.: bots = no stats).

Good luck!

I gave it up as well, and use locallog :) works very well.

I did have a player id and password, but when I tried to join a game it said with big blue letter "This server has UT2003 stats ENABLED". I dont know.. doesn't really matter anymore :)

thansk for the answer btw :)
