The new version simply stops the (at the time) new donkey bot. There have also been some newer versions since then that's added more functionality. Just read the readme's that are included with them, they normally tell you what it does.

I realize that bro. You simply confused the guy by telling him about those other versions, when he didn't even know they existed. His questions was regarding the OP's version here, which just adds the ability to detect the Donkey bot.

Those other versions just add some functionality to the cheat protection, but do not add more detection abilities. It just identifies that certain hashes are known cheats, then kicks accordingly. This will in turn limit the number of false positives on memory corruption kicks. :thumbup: This way you can leave bKickForCorruptMemory to false, so it will only kick players with known bad hashes.

Although UTDC itself will not be updated anymore, there are other alternatives in the works.

One is UTDCPlus which is an addon for UTDC that adds more protection.

The other, which still hasn't seen a release yet, is a cheat protection being made by a guy that goes by the name Ryan. Nothing has been released as of yet though, not even a name.

Troublesome is keeping the source closed and, as far as I know, hasn't released it to anyone. Which is kind of good, since his coding is very good. It would be very bad if it fell into the wrong hands.
