WTF I cannot get bots into a commandline lacuned server!

Yes, and they still do not join.
If you look at the server in the in-game browser it shows, min players (bots) = 0. I launched a test server via gui (it's a pain having to shuffle cd about). And set min bots to 7 max players to 9 and specs to 3. Then I killed the game and looked at ut2003.ini just to verify where to set these values. (I chose 7,9,3 so I could tell what the 'new' values were. What I saw was... [xInterface.Tab_MultiplayerHostServerSettings] MinPlayers=7 MaxPlayers=9 MaxSpecs=3 I want 6 players (bots or otherwise) in the game at all times, (obviously only after the first human joins). So I modified my KillBoxDD.ini with 6,6,1 in the respective fields, and added them to the command line when it appeared it wasn't working. Yet it still does not work. Is there anything wrong with the command line syntax? Does the game get confused when there is a difference between the default ini's and the custom ini's? |

Before leaving for work this morning I grabbed the system folder from my server and started exploring. Last night, after a reboot, I used the in game gui to start a server. And this morning it seems (via web admin) to be working satifactorily. So I though I'd peruse the 'default' failes (UT2003.ini & Server.log) for the info I need.
