Quote:

This a test version for the new curl 'ftp' module for UTStats which aims to add
sftp and ftp support through the libcurl library. Although libcurl supports
more protocols than sftp and ftp not all required functions (e.g. deleting
files) are available and these have to be specified for each of these protocols.
Other protocols can be added on request

Will there ever be an improvement on BT section, MonsterHunt and Siege mod? Naturally CTF/TD/DM is #1 piority and I see great development for it, but I see no dedication on other mods. :(

rork 30th December, 2011 06:13 PM

I have no knowledge at all of any such projects. I had some BT suggestion but I'm currently not realy interested in continueing the development. From my point of view what UTStats needs is a rewrite and despite 2 attempts to do this (of which one by me) this never got completed.

Siege and MH are hard to implement for none of the events are logged. For MH there is a solution but I've never tested it.

I'd be happy to share any code/information/ideas I have (also that of other authors if they approve), but at the moment I simply don't want to bother developing it.

Gosh :(

[rev]rato.skt 17th January, 2012 03:15 PM

to go up automatically logs I have to have a ftp server on the same machine the server???

rork 17th January, 2012 05:50 PM

That is the mostly used option I guess.

You can also run the import script on the ut server or upload the logs by some other means and activate the import script.

[rev]rato.skt 17th January, 2012 09:08 PM

you cant give me this script?
I do not want to create an ftp server just because it

then my utstats did not work because right was not created hum na ftp server machine server correct?

[rev]rato.skt 19th January, 2012 03:23 PM

Look my erro..
need release some + port to the ftp server running?

rork 19th January, 2012 04:45 PM

I can't connect to the ftp from here either, might be that the ftp server doesn't run well or the port on that server is blocked.

back4more 19th January, 2012 09:01 PM

maybe ring host and ask if it is blocked.

[rev]rato.skt 20th January, 2012 01:32 PM

give up already tried everything and everything is already open door and nothing .. but easy to update once a week playing the logs...

back4more 21st January, 2012 04:42 PM

ill see if I can help you out later on m8 , have been busy with our servers last few weeks and already very popular ...

just have to sort a few idiots out and fix a few bugs/annoyances and then I may have to start from scratch and install utstats myself.

although I must admit that I have forgotten some of the important aspects in doing this. It should come back easy enough.. if/when I do this I will also sort yours out for you.

@rork do you remember that script you gave me a while back which I think imported the log's and checked them for linux systems?

just wondering if you still have this and if you could send me the link please m8?

Best Regards

b4m.

I think he makes the servers on his home pc.What about the database? Also on homepc?

Because if it is like that he will not be able to get it work.

Or do you have a homepage if so you install utststs there.Go to your homepage on ftp create a folder and put all the files in there.

Still you need a database for your utstats tho.

But ok i dunno your situation so plz tell us.

[rev]rato.skt 23rd January, 2012 05:09 PM

in my case it was only on my pc ftp server that did not work

back4more 24th January, 2012 12:01 AM

you can run utstats from home pc using xampp or wamp , if you set your security settings correctly you can make them available to the outside world as well.

better to have a cheap godaddy.com account though for stats/redirect etc imo.

but good for testing those other 2.

can easily setup mysql db's and everything.

maybe this will help;

Godaddy is good for domain names and 1and1.com is good for hosting.

IMHO

Hi,

I have installed this and it almost works, when i import i get:

Connecting to server: 193.192.58.6:21
Connected, now logging in...
Logged in!
Setting passive mode
Current directory is: /
Changing directory to: /ut/Logs
New directory is: /ut/Logs
Directory contains: 50 files
Downloaded: 0 files (0 KB) in 1 seconds
Disconnecting... done!

So you see 50 files but why is it not downloading?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Cheers
