UT for intel mac
 

my friend tries to play UT99 on his mac. it works fine but internet play generally crashes. We have tried playing a lan game (with my PC and his mac) and i cant connect to his game it says "package de mismatch" or something similar.

is this because he has an intel mac? i remember that my other friend could play it fine on his g5.

any help would be most appreciated!

For that particular problem, remove this line from the server's unrealtournament.ini:

If you get a crash message make a copy of the log file so you can figure out what's going wrong.

Just downloaded UTGY 99 with 436 and all installed works like a charm with my macbook pro.

Intel specific UT for OSX:

I just love waking up a 2+ year old thread, but it's topic is so direct to my needs, I just can't bring myself to open a new one.

I've been recently gifted with a non-functional Mac Mini. As of Monday, it's working reliably again. [long long story]

So, first I looked for www.ut-files.com, but as my luck would have it, the site seems to be experiencing issues. [domain name not registered in DNS at this hour] Yes, I've already made a post to this effect elsewhere.

I have the PPC version on CD as well as the updates to make it go, but I also downloaded an Intel specific version a while back, which I can no longer find. I think it was an ISO file.

Anyway, since it's being discussed on this thread, I was hoping someone could direct me to where it might be downloaded, along with whatever updates were required to make it "work". I see something listed on the Torrents, but I'd rather not try that unless it's absolutely the last chance.
