You are only going to get more frustrated and angry doing it this way. A chunk of those packages need ini files and you won't get those from your cache.
The best advice I can give you is to jot down the packages that interest you then totally delete your server and start over. Get the packages as zip files (Iniquitous has most of all that in one spot) and install them one at a time per their individual instructions. Yeah, it's time consuming but it's how you learn. There aren't any shortcuts.
