the id aready in use can happpenning when a player try to join the game and crash just after. it this happening wait 2-3 minute ans try again to join the game.
make a copy of your nexgen.ini and delete it. from your server.

Maybe it is just the case that the players copied an UT installation and therefore got the same client ID? If this is the case tell them to remove all sections with 'Nexgen' in their User.ini

Hey, something has annoyed me for a while and I don't know if it's Nexgen or not.
It seems that if you type things too quickly on a server you get blocked from talking for a second or two and have to type very slowly. I'm not talking about spamming speech binds, I just mean typing many sentences quite fast. It's very annoying because I type quickly and hate being blocked.
Is there something in the Nexgen.ini file which can completely *disable* "spam control" like this? I'd rather suffer a server full of spam than have players being blocked for seconds at a time.

There's a plugin which fixes that, you may look some pages before this one. It was discussed in this thread.

Ok, I've been having an issue recently. When I join the nexgen HUD stays on "Loading..." or "Logging in..." for ~10 seconds and then boots me from the sever with the timeout message. I can't really think of a reason why it would do this because it seems to happen fairly sporadically.
Could someone explain what's going on and if there's a solution? Thanks.

These timeouts indicate that there's a problem regarding the connection between you and the server. Means that the important data the server sends your client aren't received in time, therefore you have to disconnect. This can either be caused by your client or the server.
Try disabling your firewall/anti vir, or change some other network related settings.

What can server owners do to improve Nexgen's connection performance? Is there a way to tweak or configure Nexgen or increase the amount of waiting time before disconnecting a player?

These timeout issues are all with Nexgen112. 111 does not seem to have this problem.....

Error code 0x000000DF is the check PlayerPawn(owner).playerReplicationInfo != none, I believe.
So for some reason, the owner's PRI has not been set.

Well usually this issue is resolved by netspeed 20000. It seems to be caused by the client / server not being able to talk to each other.
Flip side of things, I've found Nexgen112(and higher) to be the culprit. Nexgen111 and lower do not cause this issue.

Yes it is. You can easily decompile it and have a look how it works.
Just a FYI, my plugins and mods are all open source aswell.
