Connecting through wireless router.

Hey all, I've been trying to set up a multiplayer game on machine to test maps, and now I think my wireless router may be blocking connections. We've tried connecting both directions, but we both use wireless router, so no go. Is there a
port that I have to allow for people to connect through my computer?

well , first what type of setup you tried? can you be more specific (port redirecting, firewall setup and such)
2nd, did you read any of the tutorials for dedicated server setup (also applies for listen servers) ? if not, try this : http://wiki.unrealadmin.org/Server_Setup_%28UT2004%29
go through NAT setup , and tell us what happened, then we try to answer the next problem(s) .

I went through this problem with a Belkin router. Even though the router has all the options for port forwarding etc, I could not get it to show up on the internet. Lan works fine, no troubles there. To make the story short though I decided to call Belkin up. I talked to about 5 different people there only to find out in the end that the router does not support port forwarding for incoming internet traffic. I would guess there are several routers out there with that exact same problem. I will never buy another Belkin router though.
