Serverside Demo REC question

Hi all,

I am trying to get one of my servers to automatically record serverside demos,
I don't really want to run EUT or PURE, and MoDOS Utils refuses to play ball as
I run NexGen and it seems they just don't mix

Can anyone suggest a way of doing this,
For example is there a nexgen plugin to enable/disable serverside demo recording ?

I know it's probably something stupid, but plain & simple i'm just not seeing it.
