Hey everyone, I'm new at the whole UT admin thing so bear with me.

I'm trying to run a dedicated server in Win 98 and i'm running into quite a few problems. This is the last .log file that was written:

I think it has something to do with UT Pure, but when I originally had this running, the server would boot up fine, but I wasn't broadcasted on the main server (I'm behind a Linksys router on a LAN). I've been trying to figure this out for days, but I just keep running into dead ends. If someone could lend me a hand by checking out my .ini, I would really appreciate it. Here's the .ini

It looks like you don’t have the Bonuspack4 installed
Install it or uncomment the PlayerPacks[1]=BP4 in the UTPureRC5w.int file, then you also can remove the line ServerPackages=BP4Handler5w under [Engine.GameEngine] in your UnrealTournament.ini

thanks dude. I got the error message to go away, but now for some reason I can't get my server to show up on the master server. I thought i did everything the tutorials said to do to get on the master server, but i guess not. I can't even see the game on my LAN. I have no Idea what's going on. ...and then it just stops there and nothing else happens. I don't know if its trying to get around me firewall or what. Maybe I'm connecting on the right port. I have no idea...

Strange, it looks like it running, it’s sometimes not possible to se it on the master server from a computer on the same LAN, but it should show up on the LAN tab
What’s this “Mutator=?Listen” and should it be a “?” before Listen

Yeah I'm not really sure why it does that. But I don't think its having much bearing on the server not starting up. The "?Listen" is in there a few times and i don't think that it would be a problem. Plus, I can't fint that script anywhere to modify it. It should be showing up on my LAN but I have no idea why it isn't.

Have you tried to connect from an other computer on the LAN using the local address 192.168.1.3 ?
"?Listen" seems to be a mutator in your startscript, if you don’t know what it is i think its better to remove it

It’s probably something with the 451patch! didn’t se before that you was running that version, search for post in this forum, have seen that others have problems with that version
I run 440 on my server and only 436 on my client, tried to patch my Linux client to 451 but only run into trouble with utpure when i tried to connect to servers

Ok, I just decided to reinstall the whole thing and now i'm not having a problem with the server. I can connect fine and everything, and it doesn't crash. Now my problem is getting the dedicated server to run outside of my LAN. Because it will only show up there.

That and i was wondering if there was any way to improve the latency of my other computer on the lan when i connect. Because its kinda slow when i get on my server.

I know nothing about Linksys routers
On my Gateway/Router I portforward 3 ports to the UT server
7777, 7778 and 7779
