roofjumper,
dreamss' fix does work. Here's exactly what worked for me: download and copy the tar file as he describes, then go to the homedirectory of the user that runs the server (if the user is bob, type cd ~bob). Ok now lets suppose your ut2004 directory is called ut2004. Now in bob's home directory, remove the directory .ut2004 (note the period), you can do this by rm -fr .ut2004. Now when you start up your server, at the very end of your start command, put -nohomedir. For ex:
./ucc-bin server ONS-TORLAN?game=Onslaught.ONSOnslaughtGame ini=UT2004.ini -nohomedir
This works great for me. Also keep in mind if you want to add more maps to the dropdown, you need to click 'Defaults' at the top, then just add as many maps as you want and save. Hope this helps
