i just downloaded the new fresh dedicated server pack something like 856mb so when i opene it i saw maps ike system/staticmesh etc so i copied all those maps/folders to my UT2004 folder and then i launched game but then . my screen was white and black i cudnt see the graphics. how can i solve this? i have the right version? a dedicated server is supposed to be placed on FTP?

The dedicated server files are made to be run via command line or runserver.bat file. They are not made with the same GUI capability as the retail game, for it is not needed. Dedicated game servers are normally, but not always, hosted on remote machines that do not require or use a GUI interface like you are accustom too.

If you dumped the dedicated files into your client install (which I think you did from your description), you just borked it.

Again, dedicated server files are designed to be smaller in file size for remote installation & management, so many features you normally see in the retail game are not present nor needed (GUI interface for example).
