Default UTPure 7G Now Out

UTPure has been updated with more great features and fixes, these include:
  • Auto demo recording client side
  • Force demo recording from the server (for leagues)
  • Lots of minor and bug fixes

Great work TNSe \o/ . Force demo recording is definitely a nice feature .

P.S: Is the demo recording 'stuck projectile trajectory' problem fixed or not ?

Anyone else having problems with the Sniper Rifle not being able to shoot the other opponent?

The player can XLOC and telefrag the other players....but ZP Sniper isnt working...

Bugs or am I missing something?

help!?!?!?

Question

Ermm....still not working.

I tried with bots....and it works Great...but when a player enters....you cant shoot them. You see blood coming out of the player and all....but no damage is done to the player.

So, I got smart....what is the difference between a bot and a player. Ping.

So I dropped Zeroping 2.10, and got 2.22 instead....Still no damage being dealt.

WTF?

Any ideas?

P.S.....Got kicked with the HelioS Hook 3.X .... Very Nice!!!

Recorded demo with UTPure7G, and Pure: Zeroping AccuGib on.
No HUD, crosshair and Chatbox displayed in the demo.

ZPPure is way better anyway, ppl only like zp2 because they need an easier hit area.

True. I have lost players on two occations: When I changed from ZP2 to ZPPure, and when I installed UTDC. I still see people complaining that they "cant hit anything", and then disconnect. The more experienced players seem to prefer ZPPure though, since you dont get hit by lots of lucky shots.

Default Pure7G

HI All! Got my server updated to 7G I love it, but one problem I am having is players getting a "Connection failed" message when the server switches to a new level. The server logs are showing a "Bad time dilation error". I remember reading that someone had this problem with the last version, but I cannot find the post in order to try to remedy this problem. I am also running ZP 1.0 along with it. Any ideas that can help me? Thanks a million!

its mainly a problem with the preferences set in custom maps
only fix i know atm is editing the maps with ued and set the
timedilation to 1
somehow pure started to treat that as a cheat
unfortunately there isnt an option to switch that check off
means i dont know about atm
maybe someone can correct me if im wrong at this

Hi

I logged into a Truff server last night running the new pure 7G
I use linux as my OS and seem to be having major problems.
Missing hud and then a weird double firing sequence on InstaGib.
You fire off one shot, then it fires another one up to about 3 secs later on its own.
It wont let you shoot again until this second "auto" one has been fired.
It also feels really really really laggy although *ping* is fine.
I logged into a server still using a previous Pure and it was fine
Anyone else had this problem please?

Did he say that?

ZP2 is not very accurate, and it doesnt exactly help your aim. You hit when you really shouldnt hit, which is why "less skilled" players prefer servers with ZP2. Not saying that everyone who prefer ZP2 is less skilled.

when we had the old OCA server we tried both ZPPure and ZP2. zp pure had some weird shots :/ my crosshair was an inch away from someone and it hit :? and not just once, there were shots that shouldve missed that ended up hitting and shots that missed that shouldve hit :? ZP2 never had that problem and it had long distance shots. unfortunately it also had working massmurder hacks :/ which is why we were trying ZPPure in the first place, but even then we went back to ZP2 because ZPPure just didnt work right :?

ZP2 also has a bigger headshot area, which is what Monk was meaning I think, although its little known.
I think with ZPPure anything over 69% height is a headshot and with ZP2 its anything over 63% height.

And ZPPure doesnt have long distance shots like ZP2 does, which is a hindrance on a sniper server :? ,which is what nix was meaning I think

but the question still remains, why is ZP2 not working now :? It seems to me Pure has blocked something which stops it, if its a bug or a security risk I think only TNSe would know :? im hoping someone does so we can work a way around it, whichever version is your personal favorite, ZP2 still has features that ZPPure is lacking

I got exact the same problem. No HUD, crosshair, chatbox, F1 (scores) or anything. Demo still plays, but you can't 'lock' on a player, only spectator view.

I have never had problems with ZPPure... always worked just fine for me.. My problems always lied with ZP2 cause after the game was running a while everyone started getting double shots in insta... but anyways... I think what needs to happen is... a fix'ed version of pure needs to be released to correct the ZP2 problems cause it effects alot of ppl that place on sniper servers.. but if your playing insta with ZP2... nows the time to change to ZPPure cause it really doesn't matter what you use... or... update ZPPure so that people can change the default long distance... which should have been added the day Pure started including it inside there zip...

Moved back to UTPURE7E and UTDC 13b
