InfiltrationUT Mod, slow uplaod
Hi all, Ive been playing Ut for quite a few years, I just got drafted in setting up a few servers. Im using the “Baiter Edition” for one server with the redirect server that was provided with it. All mods and maps are downloading to players fast except for InfiltrationUT, I see that the uz file is already on the redirect, and ive also uploaded it again after I became aware of my problem. Its still slow. This is the only mod that is very, very slow to download to players. Anyone have any suggestions. I really miss these weapons. Thanks for any help.  |

Is the file downloaded twice? Fast download the first time, slow download the second time?

yes that is what it does. I forgot to mention Im using stuff swapper 3 also.

The uz file is probably a different version. UT downloads it once, checks the guid, sees it isn't the right one then downloads it off the server.

thats what i suspected. useally tough, it says version mismatch when thats the case. But if that is the case how would i get the version thats on the redirect?
http://uz.gameservers.net/ is the redirect. |

well i guess no one has a real answer. I do belive its a version mismatch, or a problem with the redir servers version. any suggestions how i get the redir'S version of InfitrationUT?.

Make sure your version of InfiltrationUT is the latest. If it is and the uz file doesn't correspond, you can always send an e-mail asking to remove the file.

I have had my version of infiltrationUT for about 5 years. I would be surprised if mine is outdated. Were might i find a newer version of this mod? Thanks for anyhelp.

Ok, Im a newbie, I think i figgured out the problem. I dont think the files that i want to upload are uploading to the redirect server, Im using smart ftp now to upload and im getting the error 550 No such file or directory. it seems this is a permissions error, is there any other way to upload them to the redirect.
