It's pointless, if someone wants to ddos your redirect all they have to do is look in their ini file to get the host location .... a HUGE failure in the logging system.

I've been using MultiRedir successfully with our server for the past couple of weeks, it's excellent.

The only trouble I've had now is that my free web host is giving "bandwidth exceeded" errors... I should have forseen this. I'm in the process of ordering paid-for file hosting.

I failed to appreciate that the script acts as a middle-man for all files, regardless of source, so I can see why this happened. I wonder - not knowing much about these things - whether UT understands redirect HTTP codes?

Would it be possible to modify MultiRedir so that, where a HTTP source is specified, the script could send a HTTP 303/302/301 to the UT client and forward it to - for example - http://uz.ut-files.com/ ?

found this interesting redirect mod which allows per map redirection with a default redirect server.
