Unhappy I want 32Bit ~_~

I just installed XP, now when i try to switch UT to 32bit the GUI slows down so much that the pointer wont even move, the game pretty much freezes up.
Same thing happend to a fresh install on a friends XP box.

Ive installed Epic Bonus pack 1-4 and the 436patch , Thats it.

When I ran the game on Win2000 , I had no trouble with 32B.
WTF?

That the game freezes shouldn't depend on wether the CPU is 32 or 64bit.

im not talking about the CPU .
Im referring to the graphics settings in the game.

Ensure that WinXp has the *correct* driver for your video card. Out of the box, MS provides only basic support for most performance cards. To get the actual performance out of the card you need to have the latest bus driver as well as the driver from the video card manufacturer. This is especially true for nVidia cards.

I think by bus driver, he means latest motherboard drivers, available from your motherboard manufacturers website.

Correct. Snag the latest AGP or PCI-e bus drivers for your motherboard as well as the current release version driver for your video card.

First: uninstall your existing graphics card driver. Reboot if necessary.

Second: Install the bus driver you downloaded.. again, reboot if required to by the driver.

Third: Install the video card driver. Reboot if prompted and you should be all set.
