MOTD Problem

I was wondering how u make a multi-lined message of the day. This is what i have done so far.... In web admin i added a "|" at the end of my sentences and also added a "," at the end of sentences. I did the same thing in my server ini and it didn't work. I was wondering how to do this. Thanks in advance.

This shows 3 lines.
