whats up all i have my Ut 2004 Server hosted but i use http://uz2.gameservers.net/ut2004/ for redirect but it is really slow to download the maps i have a fractional T1 connection and still i am slow to download the maps here what my ini file looks like any idea's what i need to do to get it to the right speed please let me know(and when i mean slow i am talking 0.1% every sec another second 0.2% and so on i have had redirect were it is like 5 to 10 sec to download the maps that what i thought redirect was all about)

Interesting.

Have you made sure your maps or mods are uploaded to their servers?

I use the same redirect... However, it's a fast download for one thing but when it goes to download static meshes it wont' find them on their server, and it starts to download from mine at a very slow rate like you described. For instance, V-CTF BloodGulch and Halo.utx I have both files uploaded to their server, I connect to my server, V-CTF BloodGulch downloads in less then 10 seconds, but Halo.utx won't download from them but instead it starts to download from mine, go figure... I'm not sure if it's a bug from their side or mine where it only allows one download from their server.

ok i see what your saying i will have to double check what maps are using what and go from there

Not every file in existence is going to exist on the redirects you know...

Agreed...
In my case and Halo.utx; I just can't figure out why this file will not download from the redirect. Oh well, I'm sending it manually to whomever requests it.

You have to set AllowDownloads to False, this forces the client to download only from the redirect.

That's how mine is setup. Instead of closing the connection it starts the download from the server, only this file Halo.utx, V-CTF BloodGulch downloads fine but not Halo.utx. I've compressed it and added it on the redirect server but no luck.
So I'm taking this map out of rotation.
