Hud & Scoreboard compatibility ?
ok so heres my dilema ....
I run Eut_1G mainly for it's Advanced hud , scoreboard. Works great in CTF DM TDM etc. But in CTF4 (multi team) the eut scoreboard doesn't work. I want to make eut scoreboard compatible with the ctf4 hud & mod if possible or implement some other scoreboard.
I also run 3 team deathmatch. Eut hud & scoreboard runs on this gametype. Works fine for blue & red. Green and gold show scores on ingame hud . Bu the scoreboard only will display red & Blue Players. You cant see the score or players on gold & green .
Smartctf 4d doesn't work either, Iv'e tried a combination of both with dynamic package loader yet still doesn't work.
ctf4 displays normal ctf4 hud & scoreboard (stock ut) with eut because its a different gameclass. with smartctf it dispalys smartctf scoreboard but red will be red , but blue green and gold will be displayed blue
3 tdm displays EUT hud but scoreboard does not support multiple teams.
Ideally we want one fix that fixes both problems and eut smart ctf scoreboard & hud or smartctf will be able to display all things correctly.
I really prefer smartctf altho it's functionality and capability are dwarfed compared to eut. I'd like Smartctf function and scoreboard (thats always displays on f1) along with the acc/eff hud from eut compatible in ctf4.
Realistically...... who knows?

Don't know about EUT. But SmartCTF (4C and probably the followups) is hardcoded limited to two teams (0 and 1).
While looking into the source, I think its possible to make it more generic and thus supporting more teams. However, I think if the same stats must be shown as SmartCTF does, the number of players shown on the stats is very low.

Good point about the player counter iDeFiX. However, most 4 team games only have 4 - 5 players per team, so it would be the same as a 16 - 20 player match.
The servers that have 20+ players would have the same trouble with two teams, as they would with four teams trying to show all the players, I think.

First screenshot of an alpha version:
Neglect the green visuals for the yellow team. Altho the positioning could be better, 3 (maybe 4?) players are visible on the scoreboard. That is on my current resolution ofcourse (1680x1050).

Dang nice work!!
Is it easy to shrink the fonts/listing of the display so more can be shown on a dynamic level? So if lik 5 - 6 players are on a team, it shrinks the view 40% so more can be displayed?

It looks good enough for me, my server only holds 18 ppl so 4v4v4v4 would be maxed teams for ctf4

the smartctf scoreboard stats don't actually work (flag kills, covers, etc)
It counts frags if i remember correctly but thats it. None of the rest of it work.(not that that really matters)

I have (fairly a lot of) time this weekend for coding.
Should be enough to get a proper testversion.

SmartCTFX (SmartCTF eXtended) supports Multiteam CTF, CTF4 and regular CTF now and registers the stats SmartCTF do.
Still need to fix the scoreboard and some further testing.
Unfortunally, I can't tell a release date yet. Maybe within a week?
