Hi LeeBee, if you agree with me I will give you some -light leather-.....

Yes it is a team game I agree but I think that if you encourage people more to get the flag the game will be more playable and less about scoring. (And now I am NOT talking about Wars or Ladders etc.) It's no pfun in a regular game with only 'defenders' and no-one attacking and taking a flag with 12 enemy flag-campers is no pfun either. But you already knew that ! So I believe that a grabber and capper schould get more rewards so more people get runnin', but that's my opinion take it or leave it....

Havn't seen you l8tly on storm/rs server, when will you play again with us

Uhm you are rewarded 5 points for a flagkill (i believe) and 0,5 point for a return in base, 2 points for a midfield return and 4 for a close call return.

A capture however gives you 15 points, and as you can see that is 3 times as much as a flagkill. And if everyone would be defending as you describe there won't be any attackers to kill, so eventually they'll leave their base or the server

However a litle usefull addon could be that you receive 2 points for each time you grag the enemy flag (not a dropped flag.)

clickflags doesnt work with smartctf enabled, but it works fine in dm games and ctf games without smartctf. is there a way to fix this?

I think he means the clickboard.

Make sure that the smartctf actor is the LAST one, than pure's clickboard works fine.

Hey, nice work on SmartCTF, SiNiSTeR. Just had a couple questions here:

I've recorded a match using SmartCTF and EnhancedFeedback (Which announces Killing and Lamer Sprees, as well as other small, non-CTF related things), and used UDemo (Which everyone should get IMO) to play it back. The playback worked fine, however, some things didn't:

1) The SmartCTF scoreboard wouldn't show up, either during or after the game. The normal scoreboard did show up and kept score fine according to the SmartCTF rules AFAIK.

2) Killing and Lamer Sprees weren't announced at all. Multikills showed up fine and worked fine though.

Again, note, THIS ALL WORKS DURING THE MATCH, just not during the demos. Is there anything that can be done about this, or is this something UDemo would have to fix?

Also, any chance of CTF4 Support?

Some servers don't display this. I don't know why this is.

If you don't see that Enhanced ServerInfo anyway, then try in the SmartCTF config:

bSmartCTFServerInfo=False

That might work as SmartCTF doesn't touch the ServerInfo then.
I run a recongamer server 451, and my enhanced smartCTF serverinfo does'nt show at all.Anyway to fix? My bSmartCTFServerInfo=True , plz help

I noticed VA is messing up the player pics on the enhanced scoreboard (v4c).

Depending on I think when you join or if the other player has a custom skin installed but blocked on the server the pic is shown as a blank greyout head.

VA is good for banning the war cow maybe I need an alternative for that.

The war cow can be disabled client side in the mod menu. Just click 'force default models'.

Hi, two questions:

1. I want to run the same server in different configurations through multiple server.ini's. any of them should run SmartCTF_4C - but with different settings. Settings should be made in SmartCTF_4C.ini as far as i know.
Hence i plan to copy the set of SmartCTF settings from SmartCTF_4C.ini to the server.ini to do individual settings for every configuration.
Now the question: Will SmartCTF settings, which were put in the server.ini, override the settings from SmartCTF_4C.ini like it works with UTPure settings?
Just thought to ask before testing.

2. How can i set up the auto-screenshot feature like it were offered by the {PiN}Kev version or does SmartCTF_4C no longer support this feature?

Thanks in advance and my deep respect for spending time and good work in this really useful mutator !

Hi, sorry for the late reply, just saw this

1. Tbh I'm not sure but I *think* it will indeed override it. Either that, or it's the other way around :E

2. SmartCTF_4C does indeed not have that feature anymore however iirc the version I modded it from didn't have anything but a scoreboard indicator about it either :s
Anyway, there are other mods that can do it... isn't PURE one of them?
