Map Cycle Bug / MapvoteLA13
Hey guys,
This has been happening for several months...or it could have been longer and I just didnt notice...
I have a 50 or 75 map rotation cycle on my server, which means I set the mapvote to make the last 50 played maps not available for choosing.
Ok, so here is the problem.
Most of them comply with that rule, but there are about 10 maps out of the 250 on have on there that can be played over and over and over again. Nothing special about the maps either...different authors, etc. The mapvote never reds it out.
Has anyone ever heard of that before? And if so, how do I fix it?

Check to see if they are in your MapVoteHistory#.ini file. I know that when I setseq a map that if it's not listed in the history file, it won't save the setseq number. Maybe you're 1024 map limit has been reached from old maps being removed and new ones being put on and there isn't any more room for new additions because the old ones are still in the History file's array.
Of course this is just speculation...I honestly have no idea what is causing it...but hey brainstorming helps!

Nope, one map is called CTF-PureAction.unr
And I tried the maplist ini, and it was *only* on 484, so it had plenty of space in it.
Any other ideas? Could the author of the map caused or did something that would make his make immune to the map cycles?

I thought that favo maps are repeating faster then the maps played less then the others, So they return faster in the list .

Actually, they NEVER turn red. They are always available for choosing.
Just those few.
In fact it was played 3 times in a row one night. Very irriating.
