Default Malicious activity causing extreme server lag

Can some please guide me on how to stop this? It's causing a 900+ ping on the server.

Baiter says 451 for Windows is laggy, so I would recomment 440 for Windows servers.

Ive been using 451 for over a year without lag and I know other servers have been.

also other exploits and fixes not to mention webadmin.

# Fixed server lag exploit from chatting. Added a config variable "bLogTypingEvents" to the Engine.StatLog class. If the server does not wish to be vulnerable to this exploit, setting this variable to false will cause the resulting ngStats logs (both world and local) to not record player chatting events.

theres a lot of other things there as well

personally I'd go for 451 everytime.

I'm running the following, 451b (runs great, very smooth for me), UTPure7G, Public EUT_1G, UTDCv1.8. I have the MVReporter disabled. I have applied SecureValidate and the following fixes from UTPG.org "DOS Exploit Fix" and "Fix for Player Login Crash Bug". I really don't know what else I can do. Below is my ini. Is there any other fixes I can apply? Basically what can I do to prevent him from reconnecting extremely fast? It's really lagging the server.

im not sure what it is, but that is what is in the logs as it is happening. so it has to be related in some way. Now, what I originally posted is just a very short snippet, he does it until everyone leaves the server and the logs get quite large. would unsuppressing the devnet parts of the logs tell me anything more?

if its filling up the logs you could try setting LogMaxConnPerIPPerMin=False

and does the ip change? maybe the server provider can ban it at a firewall level

you could also try contacting his isp, Comcast and have his internet access suspended for d.o.s

I dont no if you have a rented server or a dedicated server but if someone is attacking you like this nonstop i would email or contact my host and start asking them for help

I have made a formal complaint to my hosting provider and also had two separate phone conversations with the network owner. I am taking the proper steps now to also submit a formal complaint to comcast.

no, i did not, i had problems with shots not registering all the time with it on there for some odd reason. i plan on doing the check manually with utdc. will be very time consuming to get all the md5 hash values together ><

the people currently playing on there dont cheat, and its also a private pug, invite only.

oh that reminds me... for utdc md5 check why are there two hashes(MD5[1]=254B6CD14DEFB7BE47B5129C4D7F6EE2,62EF26A516BBE03F CED68B4E55403690)... frustrated had asked me that before and I couldn't remember why
