j'ai constater avec Nexgen1.08 que l'on peut pas changer de pseudo sans se reconnecté est-ce normal ? ou est-ce un bug.


I note with Nexgen1.08 that you can not change of nickname without reconnected is this normal? or is it a bug.

There must be something else preventing it. I can change peoples names just fine without a reconnect or anything of the sort. There is a line in the Nexgen.ini that says: allownamechange=false. Try changing that to true and see if you have the same issue.

Check the setting of MaxNameChanges in the [Engine.GameInfo] section of your servers config file. Not sure if this is the source of your problem, but it was set to 0 on my server by default and blocked all name changes.

Brother Defrost.. was doing some testing tonight on what was making those flags appear on the backs of players.. . We are using Webadmin 097b by Rush.... When the webadmin is set up for non-tournament Deathmatch or Team Deathmatch, I can set the Nexgen up ingame for 2v2 or 3v3.. set max players and click tournament and then restart.. we get no flags on the backs of the players.. but when i use a preset Quickset tournament config in Webadmin for 2v2 or 3v3 then restart the server, then we are get the flags on the backs of players..

I wanted to get this info to ya as i hope it helps with your new version release..

There is one other small problem we noticed also .. Not using the webadmin quickset and having the game set up in Normal Deathmatch or Team Deathmatch there seems to be a double start when using Tournament mode.. This problem went away when we unchecked the box.. "Let Nexgen handle the game start".. If you uncheck the box.. you get the countdown from 10 and a good start.. If the box is checked, we were getting a double start..

Not sure if this pertains to anyone else out there.. just thought we would get some info to ya to help resolve any issues in time before your next release.. Hit me on msn if ya like to see it first hand brother Defrost.. thanks again for a super job and the great work in advance sir!

I have same try with nexgen1.07 but not working,

if i modidied the nomber of Maxchangename to 10 that not working too....

i make a full new setting of the server ( NOT Working!!)....


is totaly Crazy that........

There's a new plugin for Nexgen available, called Nexgen Global Login System (like UTGL) and is intended for servers that have to deal with a lot of cheaters.

Here's a short description:
The Nexgen Global Login System is a plugin for the Nexgen Server Controller that allows admins to filter the players that enter their server by requiring the players to login before they can play on the server. The logins are checked with a local or remote database that contains the accounts of the registered players. This database can be anything, ranging from a general community forum to a dedicated NGLS master server. Because the accounts are stored on a central server it possible to easily ban a player from all your servers if they access the same NGLS database server.

j'ai remarquer un petit bug entre Nexgen et le mapvotle LA

lorsque je vote une configue différente de la config de base par exemple max 10 joueurs le server n'en tiens pas compte.

I noticed a small bug between Nexgen and mapvotle LA

when I vote a configue different from the basic config for example max 10 players would like the server does not include

a Sugestion :
Pourriez vous également svp ajouter un auto-pause étant donné que Nexgen ne fonctionne pas correctement avec Pure.
Could you also please add an auto-pause since Nexgen does not work correctly with Pure.

There's an auto pause option in Nexgen. But it only works when you set the server in match mode.

THe best way to ban lamers cheaters and hackers no acces to the site means no acces to the server.

I believe the request lety is trying to make is they want the ability to have nexgen obey the MaxPlayers setting in the server's INI instead of having to use the one in Nexgen's configuration settings.

if 2 members want make on 1vs1 they can do without that I am there to configure and with my working hours I can not be the evening so it will report services to other players.
