Yeah !!!

Have to try this out.

Could anybody give assistance covering the default packages stuff?

When doing the OBJ LINKERS does one have to add to NBSP.ini all the entries for anything in the System folder? even voicepacks? Or would one utilize the Client Packages for voicepacks since clients would be using them anyways and that would free-up entries in the Default Packages section? I'm always finding that the 64 Default Package entries isnt enough room to add everything on the server. I've even thought about removing the entries for pre-4.36 files to free up room.
And sometimes maps wont work with it, can embedded code in the map cause this problem? For example I think older maps have the HUDMutator code in them.

Thanks for any help or comments.

There's no such option in NBSP ... and since this ident is not very reliable, it should serve only for informative purpose ....

OK

That's alright - I had to remove it anyway - players using V436 client were still getting the "unsuppported client" message - and yes I had 451,436 entry in the INI. :\

PIRATOR
everything that is loaded on the server doesn't need to be added to the Database list. NBSP automatically adds everything that is loaded on the server, including packages in maps on startup.

the database list is mainly used for client mods that NBSP might pickup, that aren't located on the server. Such as activing links in RocketArena packages, etc...

EVERYONE ELSE
this package isn't a new update. this is what i released ages ago, mainly to fix the timeout issues that most people had. I re-wrote the join/initilization code + fixed alot of bugs.

ok

did you have any known bugs with people not being able to connect to the server because of an unsupported client - even if they do have 436 or 451, and the INI is ok?

And suck I know you don't really have anything to do with this anymore - nor probably do you want to! Thanks for all the work you did in the past - and I'm sad to see you go.

im currently fixing this bug, and fixing up the BETA into a releasable 108 for the final version. so far its all good, just needs some testing- once again, it wont contain any HOOK detection mechanisms, however it will be a very stable release, which people can rely on in the future. bug free i hope.

should be a good conclusion to this project.
im on holidays, so i thought it was the least i could do.
