Relics! -> dont show up
Hi,
I have setup a ffa server i have been trying to get relics to work but no luck :E
there is no errors in the logs under the mutators in webadmin they show up and yesterday a bot blow up in my face after i killed it.. so could they be on and not showing ?
i have doubled check all things are under the ini file and they are.
Any idea on relics not showing ? btw the server ip is ->
unreal://213.131.248.128:7777

Try adding this to your ini and rebooting the server :
ServerPackages=relics

UT (2008) = Unreal ThrustMyPrivatePartsInYourFaceBish
And that's probably why UTIII was a relative flop. New game, same sh*thead players ^^.

yea, and make sure you have them in your mutator commandline.

I have that line in my ini i hav double checked that i even tryed installng enhanced relics but that doesnt show either. Im not sure what you mean about commandline :?

Have you restarted the server though ? If you have, please post your list of serverpackages.

Try moving ServerPackages=relics up higher in the list of serverpackages.
I have stuff that wont show up all the time and after I move it's position...it works okay.
The strange thing is...is that some ppl can see them and some cant. =\

ah i worked it out! i went and had another look at the file to make sure all is in it when i noticed server.ini and i edited that and bingo now they show up! ... such a simple thing but takes a while to work out :E

Do you know if your server is on windows or linux ? There's either a bat file or a file without an extension (or sh) in the directory root. It's possible to edit it and change the start line so you can preload mods like mapvote when a server is restarted.

That's normal. It means that either they installed the mod or it's already in the cache. If a mod isn't in the cache, things happen like weapons not showing and skins making players invisible.

hmm there is some ucc files without extension and a checkfiles.sh ... but i think the ucc.init is what the server starts with my mods. aka
MYMODS=ServerMode01P2.ServerModeMutator,BDBMapVote 304.BDBMapVote,botpack.noredeemer,SmartCTF_4D.Smar tCTF,KickIdlePlayers2.KickIdlePlayers2
as i just seen all this, so i could add relics to it? so when i restart it they start.
