Default ASC Server crash player join *~ [ ]

ASC758 installed. Server crashes when names come in tagged with ~* or [-] etc. Just started happening. Any ideas? FTP down and can't check logs since head admin is working on opening his new lan center.

What did you do to fix it? There are a lot of Admins here and this is obviously a new problem that we've not seen.

Well, thought ws fixed. I'm wrong. Seems to come and go when any player joins. Even with different weapon setups as well. I can join fine. But every so often a player joins and crashes server upon connecting. wtf

Possible 1.0.RC4d not compatible with ASC? I know, old version. But catches alot of botters.

Can you please upload the file containing the 'FG_Revenge_frAAAgenstein_Rifle' class, or tell me where I can get it?

I believe that it could be a bug ('probably' exploited intentionally) in whatever mod that's in.

BTW, I tried to join that server and couldn't. It just sat at the Connecting screen. I looked in the UT browser and refreshed the server and it showed me in there, but my ping had climbed up to over 200 and was slowly getting higher.

I took a look at that file and I don't think that's it, could you list the mutators you have running on the server?
