guys can anyone help me figure out why myself and every player can join my test server with ace, but when I load a map with SLV's ACE kicks for SLV2.u as an unknown package. Its already added in the ini

Here is the kick message that happens to all players regardless if the file is in cache or not. I think it needs to be white listed?

This may be dumb, but make sure you're using the correct INI file. Specifically if you're running Linux and you aren't using the -nohomedir command to run/start the game server. If you aren't then you might want to check in the .loki directory.

Assuming it's a Linux server, but I am sure you already know about that. If I have some time later today I'll setup a test SLV2 server on my box and see what I can figure out.

its a windows server. one server is server 2012 the other is server 2008 one personal one hosted. Thanks for responding.

ok I found the issue. it was this mod it replaces maps that have old slv2 jets with slv205 versions. even adding it to the allow list still causes a kick. this is great new though don't really need slv replaced as we mostly play rx8 maps

I have tried to install it on my TO v3.5 server and it does loads fine. (ACE v08h)
But I have no idea why it disables my TOST

How can I fix that?

This means that all n00bs with the latest noname bot will continue to dominate the servers and kick all veterans in the butt! Making their skills they so hard worked for since the year 1999 useless.

Whenever he get some free time, he is going to be recode ACE and hopefully don't have much problem like the beta process did.

It take a lot of time to get it set. It even took a few years to get the one we currently have.

It downloads the .dll or even if i manually install it, it doesnt work. The game just crashes. Not fatal errors, just a general windows error "Unreal Tournament.exe has stopped working...." I just wanna play some instagib

second did you install ut from steam?

there is an alternate way to install. by downloading the demo then using the 436 no delta patch.

Lastly when you uninstall UT99 make sure you rename or delete the c:\unrealtournament folder.

its most likely due to steam though.

when i install from the demo too utpatch 436 nodelta, i get the same thing. "Unreal tournament.exe has stopped working." i dont want to have to reinstall windows, but i feel like thats the only way i can play UT

P.S. thank you i love this name too hahahaha

EDIT: Currently trying to install ut436 on linux to try to see if i can do it on linux. such a pain in the ass doe :/

Linux UT isn't too hard to install but I need to update my demo installer script.

http://www.unrealize.co.uk/files/Linux/ you want UT-436-GOTY-Installer-0.4.tar.gz and run the demo install script after setting/checking the variables at the top.
