Understood. Does this mean a future update could include such detections if this one does not? Obviously usability for today's generation of hardware and the newer OS's is primary, but, naturally, the entire point of this program is to keep things fair.

I don't think that'll be possible... unless it is. Even if it is, some will prefer not to use all the said tools and hope to have an option to enable and disable of said tool.

I can voice a few who would want: SAM - uK, Schlong - HoF... those 2 are on top of my head who can probably do well.

I'd very much like to be added to the test list if possible Anthrax. I've been working hard this past month on an antitweak based anticheat that I'm hoping will go very well along side of ACE. I'd really like to see if it does fine on the same server so I can address anything that might cause conflict.

If you have enough testers is there a chance I could send my anticheat to you to try in your local installation to let me know if it's all good? I know you are busy, I'm not asking for help or critique, just want to know it's good. I'm running it fine along side the 8h now without problems.

Does ACE have any kind of dodgebot and/or dodge macro key detection built in (or could it have in the future)?

Fulcrum's BT Anticheat does this to some degree, but it would be great if ACE could integrate it.

If you need help testing by all means include me too.

Dizzy I'm really close to releasing my own anticheat addition to ACE that will deal with exactly that sort of thing. I'm testing it for compatibility with this new ACE (which is really, REALLY good btw) and once I'm happy with it being OK I'll start sharing it out. PM me if you want to test the beta version I have currently. I'm hoping to have it done this weekend now that I can be sure it works okay.

As for the new ACE, where would you like the feedback Anthrax? Is this thread OK or do you want it privately? I've been testing it VERY hard for the last two days, throwing the kitchen sink at it and being extremely pleased with the results. It's caught every bot/radar/trigger cheat I have archived *. Installation was easy, it sets up just fine. The only issue I have is that I am still having problems with my server being behind a router and using port forwarding. In order for ACE to function properly I have to set my server into a DMZ no matter what settings I change within ACE. This may be more of an issue with my router, but googling finds this to be an issue since version 8 and lots of people have had it.

*- There are some things that this ACE does not catch. I will PM that to you privately because I don't know if this is known to you and just a limitation of the scope of ACE as a project.

Another positive development - this is all encouraging news, thanks again UTrustedPlayer, our BT server would benefit from that too.

I don't suppose it'll happen this way, but it'd be satisfying to see the new ACE and additions rolled out in a co-ordinated wave across the most popular servers, and watch the ensuing car-crash from players who've managed to dip under the radar before now. A sort of reverse zero-day scenario

I think you may be more right than you know. Several friends are testing my add-on and using the silent logging of catches. In the post-ACE8 UT world players are really confident they can get away with things known to circumvent that protection. We are seeing a ton of logged catches. My guess is that once the new ACE is prime-time ready and rolls out across most servers it's going to be ugly for a time until things get cleaned back up. I can't wait.
