Default Running multiple lan servers on one machine

Hey,

I'm trying to set up 4 2k3 servers on one machine for LAN play at my house. I downloaded the free dedicated server and have unzipped it into 4 seperate folders ie. 4 different servers. I've changed the lan port, listen port and game ports so that they wont interfere with each other. I'm running the machine hooked to a switch and not a router, so there are no ports to mess with. My problem is when I start more than one server, they will all be running according to the runbatch file and I can access the webadmin portion of the games, but only one server game shows up in the 2k3 game when I choose the lan option.

The machine is a P3 with a tulanium 1.26Ghz cpu, 512mb RAM and twin 40GB WD hardrives in RAID 0 stripping.

I'm using the Dedicated server GUI v1.71 to start the servers.

What am I missing here. I've read that you need to do IP aliasing or OS multihoming, but I don't have any clue as how to do that.

Anyone out there that can help me out.

thanks in advance.

Grim

you have to change the lan-port, coz you need a port for each server:

[IpDrv.MasterServerLink]
LANPort=11777
LANServerPort=10777

and you donĀ“t need a folder for each server. you need just 1 folder with 4 inis and 4 log-files.

You need a server.bat file for each server.

That's not much of a computer for 4 games........

Angry

this is from ut2k4 but i think it will me the same.

[url]
Port=7777

I think this is not needed but add it anyway
[IpDrv.UdpGamespyQuery]
OldQueryPortNumber=7787 (QueryPort needs to be 10 ports up, if port is 8322, QueryPort = 8332)

[UWeb.WebServer]
ListenPort=80 (enable it and change it)

[IpDrv.MasterServerUplink]
DoUplink=False
UplinkToGamespy=False
SendStats=False

these things u have to check while running LAN

cmd:
ucc server MAP?GAMETYPE ini=UT2004.ini -multihome=IP -lanplay

hf
