Hi,

after troubleshooting a few problems on my dedicated server I can now successfully connect to the unreal master server.
Evidence of this is deposited in my server.log:-

HOWEVER my damn server just does not appear in the server browser list at all and I'm not sure why. I've left it for ages and still no joy. The game is deathmatch
Firewall ports open(and forwarded to the server):-

29700 (don't think i need this one)

Server is bahind a router+firewall combo which provides NAT. I am running the server dedicated from the runserver.bat

I'm just stumped - I've set the behindnat setting to true and cannot see any other ini setting that might help (referring to unreal.org's help page)

Does anyone have any advice please? I'm REALLY stumped!

I your game browser, do you have "Standard Server" checked?

Sorry by yes i meant no as in it's not checked. My server is running big head therefore it wouldn't show up if that was checked...

Any other ideas? Ta.

Might seem a silly question, but does your server show up under the LAN tab?

Also, check under:
[UWeb.WebServer]
ServerName=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx


Where the x's are your public IP address. Not one that starts with 192.xxx.xxx.xxx (for example one you are using on your router)

yes mate it does - also i've had a few private gaming sessions already. Mates of mine have connected and played fine ffs

Hmm I'm not very good at reading am i - yes, my public IP is there in the uweb.webserver section and the entry is correct - ie my public IP address.
