Question UT99 wants to act as server on port 2000 UDP

Just a quick inquiry here, I notice that when UT Accesses the Web it try's to setup a listen server on port 2000 UDP , what is this for or rather how does this work, is it for stats or something?

if port 2000 is blocked it asks for permission on port 2001, 2002 etc.
Ta.

Are you running ACE ??

I know ACE uses an extra port for each player connected, could be this perhaps ...

nah this is a weird one , but what happens is if you open Ut and goto 'find online games' then the FW requests from ports 2000+ to act as a server, if you do not allow this then no server's show up in favorites.

This is Client side as well.

is a weird thing... like hackish .. just never noticed it before..
