Problem with Uadmin redirect?

Not sure who to contact with this

- UT2004 Linux servers
- Windows clients

Have tried using the uadmin redirect service sporadically when setting up servers over the past six months. It has however never seemed to work.

Using http://uz.unrealadmin.org in the ini results in what looks like no redirected downloads (ie very slow).

Using http://uz2.gameservers.net/ut2004/ results in fast downloads that are obviously redirected.

Any ideas? Are there any known problems with the redirect balancer? Is anyone using it sucessfully?

it should be http://uz.unrealadmin.org/
but since im not using that redirect im just guessing

This seems to be the only area with a 'suggestions and comments' section, and is indeed labelled, suggestions and comments on this website.

As a service provided by this website, the redirect balancer does not appear to be working (possibly through my own ineptitute but thats another topic of discussion :p) and I felt this would be the best place to comment to see if others using it (whatever version of unreal that may be) were suffering similar problems or could shout me down with a chorus of 'it works here you fat idiot'

If you posted in this forum and it has not been moved, then you posted in the right place.
As nixxy mentioned, the redirect url should be http://uz.unrealadmin.org/
The trailing / is very importent. If you leave it off, the redirect will not work.
This is what your ini entry should look like.

IpDrv.HTTPDownload]
RedirectToURL=http://uz.unrealadmin.org/
UseCompression=True
